ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES: ** *Receive and process samples by scanning them into Meditech individually.* * ** Register new employees using information they fill out & send on specimen collection forms. ** * Site batch all received specimens so that they are ready to be sent to Griffin Health 's reference laboratory. ** * Tracks and efficiently handles all unlabeled specimens or specimens with miscellaneous issues by adding them to the correct shared document. * ** *Confirms accuracy of client and specimen details.* * ** Examines specimens for adequacy, integrity, and appropriateness of specimen. * ** *Practices effective hand off with Specimen Collection Team Leads & Couriers. ** * ** Performs quality checks on all specimen collection forms EDUCATION : High school graduate. EXPERIENCE* : On-the-job training provided.
