Responsibilities include maintaining and auditing equipment identification and location through regular staff assistance visits; ensuring all equipment is received, tagged, inspected and delivered to the proper end user. Monitors and controls inventory integrity and ensures effective resolutions for all departments. Works closely with Biomed to review and ensure transfers, trade-ins and retirements of all medical equipment are properly documented and processed. Assists in setting inventory and key process indicators to maintain good work flow processes and reduce inventory loss across all Harris Health System. Provides hands-on training to Pavilion leadership covering annual inventory, cannot locate (CNL) and unable to locate (UTL) processes. Schedules Logistics Move services when equipment transportation is required. Works autonomously and maintains consistent open communication with Harris Health System Asset Manager to track workflow and identify gaps in processes. Heavy interaction with a variety of hospital staff, Nurses, Doctors, Managers, Directors and Administrators in addition to performing other special projects as needed.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Education/Specialized Training/Licensure: HS/GEDWork Experience : 3 years of warehouse experience, Stocking, loading/unloading or inventory of supplies and/or equipmentEquipment Operated: PC's equipment, Printer, Terminals Microsoft Office; Microsoft Access; PeopleSoft (a plus) SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS: Communication Skills: Above Average Verbal (Heavy Public Contract), Writing /Composing CorrespondenceOther Skills: Analytical, P.C., MS Word, MS Excel,Work Schedule: Flexible
