Inventory Control Specialist

Join Meritus Medical Center as an Inventory Control Specialist and play a vital role in ensuring our clinical teams have the supplies they need--when they need them. ##### What You 'll Do * ##### Monitor and manage inventory levels across acute care departments * ##### Collaborate with supply chain teams to optimize stock and reduce waste * ##### Use data to adjust min/max levels and improve supply efficiency * ##### Organize and inspect supply areas for cleanliness, compliance, and expiration dates * ##### Support product conversions and new item placements based on clinical needs * ##### Order, receive, and track supplies using our ERP system * ##### Identify recalled or expiring items and coordinate action plans ##### What You Bring * ##### High school diploma or GED required; college coursework in supply chain or business preferred * ##### 3+ years of experience in inventory management, distribution, or customer service * ##### Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills * ##### Proficiency in Word and Excel * ##### Excellent communication and organizational abilities ##### Why It Matters ##### This role ensures our hospital departments are stocked efficiently and safely, directly impacting patient care and operational stability.
