Manager - Orthopedics

The CMH Orthopedic Manager provides leadership, supervises, and coordinates activities of hospital-owned Orthopedic clinic. #This position plans for and develops clinical programming in clinics, assuring optimal quality care and continuity for patients and families. Responsible for overseeing day-to-day business and/or clinical operations. #Responsible for administrative oversight and supervision of all clinical and administrative staff to enhance the quality of care to clinics# customers. Plans for and oversees annual budgets. Job Requirements Knowledge of/Skill/Ability to: Strong analytic skills; Problem-solving and organizational skills; Communications, interpersonal, and conflict resolution skills; Leadership and planning skills; Ability to work effectively in multi-disciplinary setting; General clinical office procedure and practices; Participate in and promote teamwork in a clinical setting. # ## # License/Certification N/A if the manager is not working in a clinical capacity. # If the manager is working in a clinical capacity, the following is required: Managers must provide proof of clinical training appropriate to the responsibilities of the duties they are filling and must maintain accordingly. If a registered nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN): #must have a current unencumbered Oregon and Washington State RN or LPN license. # Current BLS through the American Heart Association# Education and/or Experience Bachelor#s degree or equivalent experience/education preferred. Previous clinic office management experience is required. Orthopedic experience preferred. Physical Demands and Work Environment Conditions / ADA Compliance Works inside. Walking and standing much of the time while on duty. #Long shifts are necessary at times. Subject to occasional physical and emotional stress within a fast-paced environment. #Tolerates bending, sitting, standing, walking, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling for 8 # 12 hours (shift dependent). #
