As a Registrar at Monadnock Community Hospital, you'll play a vital role in patient services, ensuring smooth admissions and maintaining accurate patient records ** ** ## Responsibilities: * Greeting and assisting patients with the registration intake process at ER registration and at the bedside in a a fast paced Emergency Dept. setting * Collecting and verifying patient information, demographics, and financial and insurance details * Obtaining authorizations for treatment * Ensuring compliance with privacy and security regulations (HIPAA) * Scheduling patient appointments and managing patient inquiries * Patient pre-admission, admission and discharge functions * Collaborating with other departments, healthcare providers, and administrative staff in support of our patients * Maintaining a positive attitude while working with a diverse group of caring professionals * Uphold the values of MCH: Compassion, Collaboration, Honesty, and Respect. * Other duties as assigned ## Qualifications: * High school diploma or equivalent (Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred) * Strong attention to detail and accuracy * Excellent interpersonal and communication skills * Familiarity with medical terminology and insurance procedures preferred * Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems * Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information ## Working Hours: Per Diem Schedule * Must be able to train on, 7am-3pm shift. Training on 3pm-11pm shift is a plus, including weekends * Must be able to commit to working four shifts per month to maintain proficiency * Availability to work on some major holidays is required. ## Salary: Competitive salary based on experience.
