Administrative Assistant III - Nursing Division

**Job Description** Provide support to Assistant Chief Nursing Officer and other members of nursing leadership when necessary by performing and office staff duties with considerable latitude for exercising sound judgement and discretion. **Required Qualifications** * High School Diploma or Equivalent **Preferred Qualifications** * Three years' experience in a customer service setting with experience in a health care setting preferred. **Competencies, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities** * Extremely neat in appearance with a personable, tactful, and courteous manner in dealing with a wide variety of people. * Position involves planning, judgement, and rapid adjustment to the unexpected. * Basic knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel; proficient with computers to include keyboarding, basic navigation and use of email. * Ability to work with multi-line phone and computer systems accurately and efficiently. * Effective customer service and relationship building skills with patients, visitors and staff; ability to respect dignity of all patients and follow HIPAA rules without breaches in confidentiality. * Ability to transcribe documents. * Proficient listening, verbal and written communication skills. **Some benefits of working at Augusta Health include: ** * Generous paid time off to promote work life balance * Free onsite parking * Tuition reimbursement * Onsite child care **Company Information** Augusta Health is a mission-driven, independent, nonprofit, community health system located in Fishersville Virginia in Virginia's scenic Shenandoah Valley.
