Summary:
The Assisted Healthcare Coordinator collaborates with the Center of Learning and Professional Development Team, nursing managers, and other healthcare professionals to provide education to Baptist Health division of nursing and assisted healthcare positions. The Assisted Healthcare Coordinator teaches and develops course education in select Center of Learning and Professional Development such as MOAB (Management of Aggressive Behavior), Sitter Training, PCT-RN (Patient Care Tech), PCT Program, UCSS (Unit Customer Service Specialist) and assist the Training Center Coordinator in entering AHA paperwork and becoming a BLS instructor.
Other information:
Must be at least a Patient Care Tech. Must have a BLS license and become a BLS Instructor. Working knowledge or regulatory guidelines, evidence based practice, core measures, understanding performance improvement processes, Joint Commission regulations and up to date of policies and procedures. At least 1 year experience in teaching, computer skills, audiovisual technology, good communication skills and professionalism is required. Will schedule & complete classes in the Infor System.
This job will be authorized 80.00 hours bi-weekly.
