Position Summary/ Department Summary: We are seeking a per diem Clinical Assistant to join the team within our Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) in Needham. Key Responsibilities: Following established procedures and instructions, providing basic direct care to patients as delegated by a Registered Nurse. Assisting patients with feeding and hygiene, obtaining, measuring and recording routine information such as temperature, pulse and blood pressure, and performing other related duties according to specific needs of unit as needed. Transporting patients, supplies and equipment as needed. Assisting with stocking and sanitizing with the post anesthesia care unit, and setting up bed spaces for patients. Identifying and reporting unusual findings or changes in patient condition to Registered Nurse. Minimum Qualifications Education: HS Diploma or equivalent Experience: 1 year CA experience or Nursing Student with at least one clinical rotation preferred. Experience working on a team preferred. Licensure/ Certifications: CNA certification or equivalent preferred The posted pay range is Boston Children’s reasonable and good-faith expectation for this pay at the time of posting. Any base pay offer provided depends on skills, experience, education, certifications, and a variety of other job-related factors.
