Citizens Memorial Hospital (CMH) in Bolivar, MO is hiring a Clerk for our Pleasant Hope Family Medical Center located in Pleasant Hope, MO! CMH is made up of 34 primary and specialty clinics, 6 Long-Term Care facilities and 1 residential care facility. About the Area: This cozy clinic allows the team to really get to know their patients! The Pleasant Hope Family Medical Center and Walk-In Clinic provides a range of services to meet the healthcare needs of this rural community. Complete family care, walk-in services for sudden illness or injury, and behavioral health services are available. Within this facility, the Pleasant Hope Rehabilitation Clinic offers physical therapy to patients to improve weakness or disability from illness, pain, or loss of coordination, strength, motion or function.

About the department: This is a family practice clinic with a full time doctor and nurse practitioner.  We offer walk-in Monday through Friday from 8:00a.m-10:00 am.  We have a full-time lab/x-ray technician on staff.

A typical day will include: Assisting in scheduling, handling telephone calls and routes to the appropriate person, including making patient appointments per appropriate guidelines set forth by the Provider/Clinic manager.

Answering inquiries relating to services and fees, simple insurance inquiries and screen emergencies.
Providing detailed messages, processing of forms, scanning, updating appropriate consent forms, updating insurance coverage, updating demographics, maintaining organization, and completing open and closing procedures.
Communication with providers, and nursing staff.
Responsible for exiting the patient in a courteous and pleasant manner and assisting them with any questions or problems they have prior to leaving the clinic.

Job Requirements:

Education: HS diploma
Experience: 1 year of customer service
Skills: organization, able to work in fast-paced environment, multitasking
Licensure/Certification: N/A
Physical: ability to work at a computer 90% of day and stand for the remaining 10%

The position is: Per Requested Need,  Days

8:00am - 4:30pm
