Lead Therapist - Therapeutic - SW Behavioral Health

****POSITION SUMMARY****
The Lead Therapist provides clinical and administrative oversight of therapeutic services in accordance with Joint Commission (TJC) and Oklahoma Health Care Authority (OHCA) standards. This role ensures delivery of safe, high-quality, trauma-informed, and evidence-based care.

The Lead Therapist is responsible for assessment, diagnosis, treatment planning, implementation, and discharge planning while ensuring medical necessity, documentation compliance, and adherence to payer and regulatory requirements.

****KEY RESPONSIBILITIES****
\- Ensure compliance with Joint Commission standards (e.g., patient safety, documentation, environment of care, and performance improvement)
\- Ensure services meet OHCA documentation standards
\- Provide individual, group, and family therapy
\- Complete and oversee psychosocial assessments, treatment plans, and updates within required timeframes
\- Monitor length of stay and support utilization review processes
\- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure continuity of care
\- Maintain a safe therapeutic milieu using least restrictive interventions
\- Utilize Handle with Care techniques
\- Conduct trauma-informed care training for all staff
\- Supervise and support therapeutic services staff development and competency
\- Participate in performance improvement initiatives and outcome tracking
\- Ensure accurate, timely, and compliant clinical documentation

****LICENSURE****
\- Active Oklahoma license (LCSW, LPC, LMFT, or LBP)
\- CPR and First Aid required
\- Handle with Care certification required

****EXPERIENCE****
\- Inpatient behavioral health experience required
\- Leadership experience preferred

****EDUCATION****
\- Master’s degree or higher in behavioral health field
