This leadership role combines clinical expertise with administrative and personnel management responsibilities. Responsibilities: * supervise and support nursing staff - hiring, scheduling, training and performance evaluations. * ensure safe and effective patient centered care delivery * coordinate patient flow, admissions, discharge and staffing levels * collaborate with physicians, interdisciplinary teams, and hospital leadership * monitor compliance with healthcare regulations, policies and accreditation standards * manage budgets, supplies and resource allocation * address patient concerns and promote patient and staff satisfaction * lead quality improvement and safety programs * mentor and develop nursing staff and charge nurses **Required Certifications/Licenses/Experience:** -Active Registered Nurse (RN) in Indiana or other compact licensure state **Preferred: Certifications/Licenses/Experience:** * Five years hospital clinical nursing experience recommended * One year of nursing management experience preferred * Demonstrates leadership, creativity, and management skills
