**Job Overview:** The Nurse Clinician role is responsible for leading and monitoring quality and safety within inpatient nursing units across the health system in partnership with the nursing leadership to meet or exceed the strategic goals of the organization and regulatory requirements. The Nurse Clinician positively affects the quality of patient care by functioning as a clinician, consultant, educator and change agent driving standardized evidence based practice in the care environment. The Nurse Clinician collaborates with other inpatient unit staff, clinicians and ancillary departments to achieve desired outcomes, facilitate care coordination and drive change across the continuum. The nurse clinician maintains bedside clinical skills by working one shift in staffing per pay period. **Required: Certifications/Licenses/Experience:** * Active Compact Registered Nurse (RN) in Indiana or other compact licensure state * Bachelor's degree * Two (2) years of experience in acute care nursing ** ** **Other Keywords: **Registered Nurse // Acute Care // Education // Training **Department:** Nursing Quality **Campus:** Midtown **** **Hours:** Full-time, 36 hours/week.
