You'll have the opportunity to provide one-on-one care to a diverse patient population, including orthopedic, neurologic, balance and more.  The ideal candidate will be passionate for delivering evidence based and patient-centered care.   Responsibilities Implement individualized treatment plans for patients with orthopedic and neuologic conditions, balance issues, weakness and pain dysfunctionProvide hands-on therapy using a range of techniques, including manual therapy and therapeutic exercise on land and in the aquatic environmentDocument patient progress in compliance with regulatory standards and best practicesCollaborate with the primary therapist as well as physicians, surgeons, and other healthcare providers to ensure coordinated care and optimal patient outcomesWork closely with a large team of experienced Physical Therapists, Physical Therapist Assistants, Occupational Therapists and Speech, Language PathologistsEducate patients and families about their conditions Maintain a safe and supportive environment for patients and staffParticipate in continuous professional development  QualificationsGraduate from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant programCurrent NC PTA license CPR/BLS CertificationStrong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to educate and motivate patientsAbility to work independently and as part of a collaborative teamCommitment to ongoing professional growth and developmentExperience preferred but new graduate candidates considered
