Endoscopy Technician

Position SummaryWe are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate team player to join our Endoscopy unit, In this role you will assist the providers with a variety of endoscopic procedures, ensuring that each patient receives high quality care. Responsibilities*Prepare the procedure room and assist the provider during procedures.*Reprocess endoscopes according to established protocol.*Perform equipment checks and maintenance to ensure functionality and safety.*Monitoring and maintaining inventory of supplies, ensuring all necessary materials are available for procedures.*Educating and comforting patients before, during and after procedures to provide a positive experience.*Collaborate with the healthcare team to support patient care and unit efficiency.*Able to assist with back up late and call rotation (weekday, weekend and holiday). Qualifications*High School Graduate/GED.*BCLS required.*Prior GI experience required.*CNA I and CNA II required.*Candidates should have a strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills and a commitment to patient safety and care quality.
