The Center operates on a support and solution-focused model — emphasizing early engagement, brief goal-directed intervention, skills building, and appropriate referral rather than long-term diagnostic treatment. Services are delivered under contracted, employer-funded agreements.This role operates at the intersection of occupational well-being, brief clinical support, and crisis-capable care. It requires a clinician who is equally effective in a structured healthcare environment and in a law enforcement cultural context, and who can build trust with populations that may be skeptical of mental health engagement. The successful candidate will function with a high degree of autonomy while maintaining clear accountability within the department’s programmatic framework. QualificationsLicensed Counselor/Psychologist QualificationsMust have Masters Degree in Social Work.  NC Social Work License required. Must be a fully licensed LCSW, LMFT, or LCMHC.Or PsyD or PhDExperience in Behavioral Services and Substance Abuse preferred.  Preferred ExperienceBehavioral health services within a healthcare system or occupational/employee well-being contextSubstance use disorder screening and referral coordinationFirst responder, military, or high-stress occupational population experienceFamiliarity with EAP or workplace well-being service delivery models
