Laundry Aide

This individual operates laundry truck and delivers linens to off-site user areas; delivers linens and picks up soiled linens at off-site user areas. Builds and distributes exchange carts at off-site user areas.

\- High School diploma or GED equivalent highly preferred
\- Ability to follow directions
\- On the job training provided
\- Clear driving record; no moving violations
\- Drives truck and delivers exchange carts with clean linens to off-site user areas
\- Folds bath towels, blankets, thermal blankets, gowns and other laundry
\- Loads and sets up exchange carts to be delivered to user and ancillary departments
\- Sorts and stocks linen items
\- Stocks linen closet on nursing
\- Make special deliveries to departments upon request
\- Picks up exchange carts from user departments daily
\- Perform other related duties as assigned
\- Picks up soiled linens in carts

Willing to work some weekends and evening shift and holidays if needed
