This position performs a wide variety of medical and clinical support functions such as providing initial patient triage, scheduling, administrative services and assisting with direct patient care.Responsibilities Under the direction of medical oncology leadership, the medical assistant is responsible for ensuring efficient flow of patients through the clinic setting by facilitating examinations and treatment of patients while exhibiting exceptional customer service. Performs medical and clinical support functions such as providing initial patient triage, scheduling, and administrative services, assisting with direct patient care, and performing specialized medical procedures of a routine nature, as determined by established clinical protocols, policies and procedures.
