Position Details: Full Time, Salaried, Non-exempt.
Position Summary:
The Senior Administrative Assistant provides clerical and administrative assistance requiring independent initiative and overall knowledge of the organization's operations and responsibilities. May direct and/or coordinate the work of other clerical support.
Requirements
Education:
Two years of college or technical education required and/or college degree preferred. Education requirements may be waived based on qualified experience and skill levels.
Experience:
Minimum five (5) years of administrative assistant experience, preferred. Experience working for/with executive-level staff members required and other leadership. Previous experience providing support to upper management & related skills required for education waiver. Previous experience in hospital setting preferred.
Job Knowledge & Skills:
Must be able to work with little or no supervision, and have the ability to make good decisions. Excellent administrative, and organizational skills, composition, spelling, and punctuation skills are critical. Proficient computer skills. Must be able to draft reports, letters, minutes, budgets, and other materials with minimal or no supervision. Must be personable, work well with others, respect an employee's rights to privacy, follow LHD Code of Conduct, all policies, including HIPAA. Must have a positive attitude, be able to multi-task and pay close attention to details, and be able to act in a professional manner, with excellent public relations skills. Must follow dress code policy and conduct themselves in professional manner at all times.
