Job Description

At Merrimack Health, we are committed to pay transparency and equity. The base salary range is $34.81 - $52.21, excluding fringe benefits and potential bonuses.
Your final base salary will be determined based on your education, experience, licensure, and internal equity considerations. Offers are typically made below the top of the range to support future salary growth.
Organizes and directs all aspects of the Volunteer Services and provides administrative oversight of the Spiritual Care Program, including chaplaincy services.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Effectively maintains all required records for volunteer services (e.g. job descriptions, policy manual, volunteer records); demonstrates good organizational skills regarding record keeping; organizes, directs, and participates in the compilation and analysis of data concerning Volunteer Services and programs; submits reports as required.
Maintains required records for the Spiritual Care Program, including chaplaincy schedules, departmental documentation, performance tracking, and program-related reports.
Demonstrates a thorough knowledge of the training and skills required for all volunteer positions.
Demonstrates a working understanding of the operational requirements and support needs of the Spiritual Care Program, including chaplaincy services.
Ensures that strict confidentiality guidelines are adhered to by all volunteers; takes immediate actions with regard to any confidentiality violations.  Promptly investigates complaints concerning area of responsibilities and takes appropriate actions.
Ensures confidentiality standards are maintained across Volunteer Services and Spiritual Care operations, including sensitive patient, family, and pastoral care information.
EDUCATION AND RELATED EXPERIENCE:
Required:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Three years of progressively responsible experience in Personnel/Organizational Management.
Verbal/written communication skills
Preferred:
Bachelor’s Degree.
Successful completion of the CAVS (Certified Administrator of Volunteer Services).
