Responsibilities
*Must be available to cover various posts during the assigned shift
protects life and property of all persons on hospital premises and patrols hospital buildings and grounds to prevent fire, theft, and vandalism.
Secures, unlocks, and protects hospital buildings.  Responds to security needs of the hospital personnel, patients, and visitors.
Participate in performance improvement activities.
Qualifications:
Education: High School diploma or equivalent (GED) preferred.
Experience: Two to five (2-5) years of experience in the field of law enforcement, security operations, or a related field is
required.
Experience in a health care setting is preferred.
Licensure/ Certifications: A current Basic Life Support (CPR) American Red Cross or American Heart Association Provider certification or a CPI certification is preferred.
Other: Must be able to successfully clear a background check, including a criminal search.  Use or possession of a firearm and/or other weapons is prohibited.

Merrimack Health is looking for  Security Officers  in Methuen and Haverhill surrounding areas!  If you have experience in security, Police, EMT/Firefighter, dispatch, and are interested in working with us, please apply! Minimum Security Officer Requirements:
• 2 years of Customer Service Experience.
• Previous security or supervisor experience, or related field/education.
• Neat and professional appearance
• Dependable means of transportation
• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in English (both written and verbal)
• High School Diploma/GED Equivalent
• Successfully pass criminal background screenings
• Successfully pass drug screening
• Strong professionalism
• Career orientated
• Strong Leadership skills
