**Position Overview**
The Tier 1 System Administrator provides first-level technical support to hospital staff across clinical and administrative departments. This role ensures reliable access to systems, devices, and secure networks, supporting daily hospital operations in a fast-paced, compliance-driven environment.
**Essential Duties and Responsibilities**
* Respond to help desk tickets and service requests for hardware, software, and connectivity issues.
* Support staff with workstation setup, login assistance, and peripheral troubleshooting (e.g., badge readers, printers, scanners).
* Assist with onboarding processes including account creation, access provisioning, and device configuration.
* Maintain accurate inventory of IT assets and perform basic diagnostics.
* Escalate unresolved issues to Tier 2 or specialized support teams.
**Required Qualifications**
* 0-2 years of IT support experience; healthcare or hospital experience preferred.
* Certifications such as CompTIA A+ or ITIL Foundation are desirable.
