Catering Assistant

**Serve with care. Support with pride.** Meritus Health is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Catering Assistant to support our Nutrition Services team. This role ensures timely, attractive, and safe delivery of catering services for medical center guests and staff--contributing to a positive experience across our campus. ### Key Responsibilities: * Organize and prepare daily catering requests and delivery schedules * Set up and clean up catering events with attention to presentation and timing * Follow safe food handling and infection control procedures * Prepare and batch cook menu items using proper techniques and equipment * Calculate quantities and gather supplies for catering production * Maintain compliance with health regulations and departmental standards ### Qualifications: * High school diploma or equivalent preferred * General work experience in customer service or team-based environments preferred * ServSafe certification preferred * Ability to follow instructions, measure ingredients, and perform basic math * Strong attention to detail and commitment to service excellence **Caring for Our Team**** **We offer a comprehensive benefits package to support our employees' well-being and professional growth.
