Position SummaryApplies the nursing process with patients and families, integrating principles that reflect sensitivity to their age-specific/developmental needs, gender, culture, religion, psychosocial and socioeconomic backgrounds in order to provide evidence-based, holistic care in a manner that respects the worth and dignity of each individual. Practices professional nursing as a registered nurse within the legal and ethical framework established by the Connecticut Nurse Practice Act and the American Nurses Association Scope and Standards for Nursing Practice and Code for Nurses.The Clinic RN is accountable for ensuring the provision of high quality evidence-based nursing care in a clinic setting, the triaging of patient clinical referrals and phone calls, collaborating with other departments and disciplines to ensure timely and quality patient care to patients, supports clinical staff through the development of clinical policies and daily clinic operations.Minimum QualificationsBachelor’s of Science in NursingActive, unrestricted CT Nursing LicenseExperience with electronic health recordsExcellent communication skillsExcellent customer service skillsExcellent computer skillsPreferred Qualifications:2 years experience as Registered NurseOutpatient nursing experience
