Position Summary
Position Summary:Using independent judgment, the Radiologic Technologist performs a wide-range of imaging procedures. Assists physicians and provides patient care essential to imaging procedures. Exercises professional judgment in the performance of procedures. Applies the principles of teamwork in all aspects of providing patient services. Assists new employees and students in training as needed.Key Duties and Responsibilities:Implements patient procedures in accordance with the health system policies, protocols and standards.Proficient in the operation of all relevant equipment and computer systems.Adhere to the prescribed standards of Safety and HIPAA within the Healthcare organization.Works independently using professional judgmentAll other job related duties as assignedMinimum Requirements: Graduate of a JRCERT accredited Radiography program.ARRT Certification/Eligible in good standingState of Connecticut Radiographer License/Eligible  Preferred Skills: Knowledge of RIS/PACS systemsGoogle experience preferredCPR certification preferredAS/BS degree preferredGood work ethicComprehensive Benefits OfferedCompetitive and affordable benefits packageShift DifferentialsContinuing Education assistanceTuition reimbursementStudent Loan relief through FiduciusQuick commute access from I-84, Route 9 and surrounding areas
