Position SummaryThe Receptionist/Medical Assistant is the central point of communication among patients, providers and other members of the health care team.  Must provide superior level of service excellence to patients, physicians and staff in a caring and supportive manner. Protects patients' rights by maintaining strict patient confidentiality of personal and financial information at all times.   Under the direction of the Primary Care Provider, the MA performs certain clinical duties, and assists the Providers to assure each patient is provided timely and effective care. Minimum QualificationsHigh School diploma or equivalentExperience in a patient care environment as either a CNA, EMT or graduate of an approved Medical Assistant program.Knowledge of medical terminology and medicationsExcellent customer service and communication skillsWillingness to obtain BLS certification within six months of hirePreferred QualificationsOne year of experience in an office based physician practiceOne year of experience working with electronic health recordsActive BLS certificationComprehensive Benefits OfferedCompetitive and affordable benefits packageShift DifferentialsContinuing Education assistanceTuition reimbursementStudent Loan relief through FiduciusQuick commute access from I-84, Route 9 and surrounding areas
