Company: Marin General Hospital dba MarinHealth Medical Center Compensation Range: $51.73 - $77.60 Work Shift: 8 Hour (days) (United States of America) Scheduled Weekly Hours: 40 Job Description Summary: Candidate should have extensive knowledge and experience in Information and Cyber Security. They will be responsible for developing and implementing all security architecture solutions within the Marin Health domain. Will liaise between IT management and executive sponsors, IS personnel, and users. Communicates issues regarding overall security operations, status and strategy and acts as a technical and team lead for security initiative planning and coordination; is comfortable mentoring and consulting with IT staff members. High degree of communication and interaction with IT staff, users, outside vendors, and consultants. Responsible for creating and documenting policies and procedures related to all aspects of enterprise security solutions and operations. Job Requirements, Prerequisites and Essential Functions: Education: A bachelor’s degree in computer science or related degree preferred, or a combination of education, training, certifications, and relevant work experience (10 years hands on). Experience: 7 years of experience as a Security Engineer, leading InfoSec and Cyber Security programs, initiatives, projects and team members. License and Certifications: Valid California Driver’s License, Class C, and transportation required. One or more industry-standard IT Security related certificates. CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional) preferred Prerequisite Skills: Extensive experience with Security solution architecture and building, maintaining and improving highly available Production environments. Extensive knowledge of IT and Security enterprise technologies: Anti-Virus, Cloud infrastructure (ex. Azure, AWS, 3rd party integrations), Windows OS, Windows Enterprise solutions (Active Directory, O365, ADFS), Multi-Factor Authentication, Netscaler/ADC, VMWare, EMM/MDM, DLP, Email Security (ex. Symantec, Defender for O365) EDR, CASB, Password management (ex. Keeper, ADSelfService), Proxy/Web-filtering solutions (ex. Cisco Umbrella) Implement and maintain SOC (SecureWorks, Fortified, etc.) Experience with Encryption standards, certificate and PKI management In-depth experience establishing strong, successful partnerships with top-tier vendors and ensuring MarinHealth security standards Ability to communicate effectively with Executive and Leadership; promote and demonstrate new security initiatives. Works closely with Compliance, Legal and Human Resources for policy creation and incident response. Oversee penetration tests, HIPAA Audits, Risk Assessments (3rd party and internal) Providing direction and guidance to other Infrastructure team members regarding security solutions and incident response. Architect/Project Lead for all major IT Security initiatives. Strong real-world experience of cyber and information security incident handling, author and maintain Policy and Procedures, and the Cyber Incident Response Plan (CIRP) Tier2/3 resource for resolution and root cause analysis for critical production issues Primary Customer Served (Age Specific Criteria): This position is not a patient care position, and as such, this section does not apply Duties And Responsibilities: Essential (Not Modifiable) Extensive experience developing and implementing security policies, standards and procedures Strong knowledge of risk assessment, incident management, and vulnerability technologies and methods Deep understanding of healthcare IT and Information Security.
