Job SummaryJob SummaryProvides basic patient care.Assists in the maintenance of a safe and clean environment.Takes and records vital sign (VS) data and relays to patient's nurse.Provides general nursing care and routine treatment /procedures (under the direct supervision of a Registered Nurse).Facilitates processing of patients. QualificationsEducation Provide documentation of completion of a program of registered nursing and eligibility to write the licensure examination in Oklahoma The graduate may continue to be employed in a Nurse Resident role until licensed, provided that the first licensure examination is taken within 90 days   after graduation and the examination is passed within 6 months of graduation, on either the first or the second attempt If the examination is failed after the second attempt, the Nurse Resident can no longer remain in the Nurse Resident positionGraduates of registered nursing program with concurrent LPN license will also be placed in Nurse Resident roleExperienceCompletion of an accredited nursing programLicensure / CertificationActive Oklahoma LPN license or active Multistate LPN/LVN license, if applicableBasic Life Support (BLS) training or re-training is required during orientation prior to providing patient careCurrent Basic Life Support (BLS) is required to be maintained thru re-training for duration of employmentComplete the 1yr Vizient Nurse Residency Program Schedule7a-7p Work ShiftDay Position TypeRegular Full Time
