Endoscopy Technician - PRN

Job SummaryPrepares endoscopy procedures rooms and required specialized equipment for diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.Assists the physician and/or registered nurse during diagnostic and therapeutic procedures to promote optimal patient outcomes by team collaboration.Provides and maintains a safe environment for the patient and staff by complying with regulatory agency requirements and hospital and unit-specific policies.Follows established policies and procedures for NRHS.Assists with patient tasks as requested by nurse.Maintains environment and instruments. QualificationsEducationHigh School diploma or equivalent.Experience6 months of recent health care tech or nurse assistant experience preferred.(Above requirements can be met by equivalent combination of education and experience) Licensure/Certification/Registration/Professional Designation ETCBasic Life Support (BLS) training or re-training is required during orientation prior to providing patient care. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) is required to be maintained thru re-training for duration of employment.Compensation/Benefits$16.72-$27.30/hr depending on previous work experience.
