Departmental OverviewParticipates in all clinical pharmacy services, supports distributive pharmacy services, and ensures the pharmacy provides optimal pharmaceutical care to all patients on a daily basis. Facilitates the development, implementation, and maintenance of clinical and distributive processes, as well as pharmacy programs that promote desirable patient outcomes through the use of safe, cost-effective drug therapies for all age groups. Job SummaryEnsures age-appropriate, safe, and cost-effective medication therapies for patients.Participates in departmental targeted clinical programs as assigned. Process orders and dispense medications according to established policies, procedures, protocols, and regulatory requirements. Administration of the ACGME accreditation and reporting requirements to external agencies. Ensure age-appropriate, safe, and cost-effective medication therapies for patients.Contribute to the educational goals of the department.Enhance the performance, accuracy, and efficiency of pharmacy processes, to promote patient safety and improve outcomes.PGY1 Pharmacy Residency (or equivalent clinical pharmacy experience) is required. QualificationsEducationBachelor of Science in Pharmacy or a Pharm D degree from an accredited college of pharmacy.Licensure/CertificationLicensed and in good standing with the OK State Board of Pharmacy.
