Intern, Pharmacy - Hospital (3551)

Position Summary:

The Pharmacy Intern supports pharmacy operations and project-based initiatives that contribute to safe, effective medication management within the organization. This role provides hands-on exposure to pharmacy workflows, data analysis, and process improvement activities that support patient care and clinical services. Working within a collaborative, team-oriented pharmacy environment, the Pharmacy Intern partners closely with pharmacists, pharmacy technicians, and interdisciplinary teams to support daily operations and quality initiatives. This position offers practical experience in a healthcare setting focused on safety, learning, and operational excellence while contributing meaningfully to patient-focused outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist with day-to-day pharmacy operations and administrative support activities under appropriate supervision.
Support data collection, research, and analysis related to pharmacy workflows, medication use processes, or operational initiatives.
Prepare reports, presentations, and documentation to support pharmacy projects and communicate findings to stakeholders.
Collaborate with pharmacy staff and cross-functional teams to support departmental goals and improvement efforts.
Participate in process improvement initiatives by contributing ideas and supporting implementation activities.
Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive patient and organizational information in accordance with pharmacy, privacy, and ethical standards.
