Endoscopy/GI Tech

_**Valley View hospital is seeking an Endo Tech that is experienced**_ _**and can assist our Provider's with high level, complex cases.**_ As the Endoscopy Tech, you will assist nursing staff and physician during the procedure with efficient running of equipment related to the needs of the procedure. Disinfects and processes endoscopic equipment; assists with troubleshooting of equipment; Sets up room for procedures; Transports patients as needed; Stocks rooms with supplies and equipment; Assists patients with getting dressed and ambulation as directed by nursing staff; Assists with applying EKG monitors, BP cuff and pulse oximetry prior to start of case. **Full time - 40 hours/week; with call rotation.** **Requirements:** * **BLS endorsed by the American Heart Association with card in-hand before start date. ** * **1 year of Endo Tech experience is required.** * **Advanced Case Endo experience is strongly preferred.** * _**Must be Registered with DORA as a Surgical Tech prior to starting.**_ * **GI Technical Specialist (GTS) advanced certification issued by SGNA or needs to be obtained within 6 months.__** * **IAHCSMM Certified Endoscope Reprocessor (CER) Certification obtained within two years of hire.** * **Must be available to take rotating call.** * We are interested in every qualified candidate who is eligible to work in the United States.
