Nurse Practitioner, Developmental Medicine (40 hours)

Position Summary/ Department Summary: Nurse Practitioner, Developmental Medicine Key Responsibilities: Providing direct patient care in an ambulatory clinical setting with an interdisciplinary team of developmental-behavioral pediatricians, psychologists, and APRNs providing neurodevelopmental evaluations and on-going follow up for children age birth thru adolescence. Presenting concerns include but not limited to Autism Spectrum Disorders, Intellectual Disability, ADHD, Learning Disabilities, and Elimination Disorders. Assessing patients' medical, behavioral, and psychological needs and conditions Prescribing and monitoring behavioral health medications Providing psycho-education and behavioral recommendations Working 40 hours per week, five 8 hour days Monday through Friday Minimum Qualifications Education: A Master of Science in Nursing required, Doctorate preferred Experience: Experience in Developmental-Behavioral pediatrics/providing care to patients with neurodevelopmental conditions preferred 1 year of nursing experience required 3+ years pediatric experience as an Advanced Practice Nurse preferred. Strong verbal and written communication skills Licensure/ Certifications: MA license to practice as Nurse Practitioner (certification as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner or Family Nurse Practitioner required) The posted pay range is Boston Children’s reasonable and good-faith expectation for this pay at the time of posting. Any base pay offer provided depends on skills, experience, education, certifications, and a variety of other job-related factors.
