Registered Nurse - Clinic

Citizens Memorial Hospital (CMH) is recruiting a Registered Nurse (RN), Licensed Practical Nurse, or Medical Assistant to care for our patients at Dallas County Family Medical Center! CMH is made up of 34 primary and specialty clinics, 6 Long-Term Care facilities and 1 residential care facility. Offering acute care, emergency services, ambulatory care, pharmacies, walk-in clinics, surgeries, addiction recovery, therapies and more, CMH has its community covered!

About the area:  Dallas County Family Medical Center is located in beautiful Buffalo, Missouri. Buffalo has multiple outdoor experiences, such as hiking, camping, fishing, and canoeing.  Buffalo is a great community that offers small-town charm and friendly, reasonably-priced neighborhoods with an excellent school system and Dallas County Technical Institute available for students pursuing vocational jobs.

Located in the heart of the Ozarks, our main campus in Bolivar has a hometown feel and affordable housing options of rentals or apartments. About the clinic: We provide care to patients of all ages, including newborns. Our team includes two physicians who offer obstetric services and deliver at Citizens Memorial Hospital (CMH). The clinic operates daily from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Family Practice staff work Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., with no weekend or CMH-recognized holiday shifts. We foster a collaborative, upbeat work environment where providers and staff work closely to deliver exceptional patient care.

A typical day includes: 

Obtaining vital signs, reviewing medical history, and reconciling medications and allergies


Completing required screenings and assessing the history of present illness


Administering medications orally, via injection, or nebulizer


Performing IV therapy and catheterization (nurse only)


Cleaning and restocking exam rooms between patients


Communicating test results and provider messages to patients

Job Requirements:

Education: Associates or Bachelors
Experience: Patient care
Skills: Multitasking
Licensure/Certification: RN, LPN, CMA, CCMA, RMA
Physical:The ability to stand for long periods and to thrive in a fast-paced environment

The position is: PRN, rotating shifts
