Network Administrator - INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY

**DEFINITION:**

Maintains computing environment by identifying network requirements; installing upgrades; monitoring network performance.

**EDUCATION:**

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS, or equivalent degree, although will consider applicable experience and certification in lieu of degree.

**MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:**

3+ years of network administration experience in a large scale production environment preferred.

**PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:**

Network Performance Tuning
LAN knowledge, Network Design and Implementation
Problem solving, strategic planning
Multi-tasking
Quality focus
Coordination
Technical understanding, quick study

Demonstrated experience with system administration operations in compliance with government security requirements (HIPPAA).
Experience with Unix, Linux, Windows, Cisco and Brocade Networks desired.
