**Job Description:**
The Predoctoral Psychology Intern is a doctoral-level student psychologist who works within various job contexts of the CoxHealth system, under the supervision of a Licensed Psychologist. Primary patient-care competencies are to provide assessment and treatment services to individuals in the inpatient or outpatient settings.
* **Education**
* Required: Good standing in capstone year of doctoral psychology program arranging to graduate with a Doctorate in clinical, counseling psychology or other eligible degree from an APA-Approved program within 18 months.
* **Experience**
* Preferred: previous clinical experience in practicum or internship.
* ** Skills**
* Able to conduct assessment and treatment of patients in area(s) of assigned operations.
* Able to integrate work activities into multidisciplinary team environment
* Carry out essential functions of the job with potential expansion of responsibility.
* Familiar with age specific needs for patient populations served.
* **Licensure/Certification/Registration**
* Preferred: Licensed Professional Counselor
