Physician - ED

Gifford Medical Center is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Emergency Medicine Physician to join our team at a rural, 25-bed critical access hospital. This is a full-time, hospital-employed position with a comprehensive benefits package. The schedule consists of twelve 12-hour shifts per month, providing an excellent work-life balance while maintaining a meaningful clinical role. You will provide solo coverage in a low-volume Emergency Department, with approximately 8,000 annual visits. Our hospital is known for its collegial and supportive culture, with strong collaboration across departments. The patient population is pleasant and appreciative, making for a rewarding clinical experience. We are looking for a physician who is board-certified or board-eligible in Emergency Medicine, Family Medicine, or Internal Medicine with relevant emergency department experience. The ideal candidate is comfortable practicing independently and has a genuine interest in rural healthcare.
