Your final base salary will be determined based on your education, experience, licensure, and internal equity considerations. Offers are typically made below the top of the range to support future salary growth.
As the
Nuclear Medicine Supervisor,
you will be asked to m
anage the daily operational and administrative activities in Nuclear Medicine to ensure seamless quality and safe patient care. Adjunct to the Radiation Safety Officer (RSO) and Radiation Safety Program.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Ensure all department operations, functions, and activities are managed daily:
Working supervisor 25% of the time. 75% of time spent managing daily schedules, completing weekly payroll, ensuring camera maintenance completion, and oversight of quality control activities.
Conduct daily huddles with staff.
Liaise with other modalities (i.e., ETT)
Develop department quality management activities and department strategic goals that are aligned with the Hospital Annual Operating Plan in conjunction with the Director and RSO.
Ensure adherence to regulatory preparedness and compliance. Maintain certification and Massachusetts State Licensure. Ensure compliance with all Massachusetts Department of Public Health, The Joint Commission and other applicable federal and state standards and regulations for accreditation.
Forge and maintain relationships with external customers, physician customers and internal team members.
Devise remedial actions for any identified issues and conduct root cause analysis when necessary and in conjunction with the Director.
Complete annual performance previews.
Support the director with operating and capital budget plans.
Serve on hospital committees as assigned.
EDUCATION AND RELATED EXPERIENCE
Required:
Bachelor’s degree in a Science or Medical Imaging Field
Registered as an NMT (ARRT or NMTCB) or equivalent
Current MA License as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist
Five years of experience in medical imaging in a hospital setting
Preferred:
Supervisory experience
