Proficient CT Tech/XRAY Tech - PRN

Position Summary
Under the direction of the Radiologist and Radiology Director, the CT/Radiologic Technologist performs diagnostic radiographic and CT procedures to produce high-quality images for patient diagnosis and treatment. This position requires independent judgment, technical expertise, and a commitment to patient safety and quality care.
Essential Responsibilities
Perform radiographic and CT examinations according to physician orders and departmental protocols.Safely position and assist patients during procedures.Operate CT and radiographic equipment.Administer or assist with contrast media as ordered.Follow radiation safety, infection control, and departmental policies.Maintain accurate patient records and imaging documentation.Clean examination rooms and restock supplies as needed.Assist with special procedures and the training of radiology students.
Qualifications
Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program preferred.ARRT certification or registry eligible; certification required within one year of hire if eligible.CT certification, registry, or approved training required before independently performing CT exams.Two years of radiology experience preferred.Current BLS certification required.
