Labor and Delivery Transport Nurse

Summary:
The transport RN holds an important leadership role with Labor and Delivery. They are also great communicators who relate well with the medical team, families, and co- workers. The transport RN acts as an ambassador for our Labor and Delivery and encourages a professional work environment. Transport high-risk maternal patients from referral centers via helicopter and/or ambulances. Train others and be an active participant of the transport team.

Other information:
Minimum of three (3) years of current RN experience in L&D. BSN preferred. Excellent assessment skills, be able to perform in high stress/crisis situations, be able to perform all standard emergency and stabilization interventions as outlined in OB ACLS, BLS and advanced fetal monitoring. Leadership, flexibility, independence, takes initiative, intelligence, inquisitiveness, and ability to solve problems and exercise good clinical judgment. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, professionalism, and excellent public relations skills. Work the assigned transport schedule to ensure continuity.

This job will be authorized 72.00 hours bi-weekly.
