Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) – Full TimeLong Term Care (LTC) UnitBoulder City Hospital – Boulder City, NevadaPosition SummaryBoulder City Hospital is seeking a compassionate and dependable Full-Time Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our Long Term Care team. The LPN provides direct nursing care to residents under the supervision of a Registered Nurse and physician, ensuring residents receive quality care while maintaining their dignity, comfort, and well-being.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesAdminister medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.Monitor residents' conditions and report changes to the RN, physician, and appropriate healthcare team members.Assist with resident assessments and care plan implementation.Accurately document resident care, treatments, and observations in the electronic medical record (EMR).Provide wound care, catheter care, and other skilled nursing services within scope of practice.Supervise and support Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs).Respond promptly to resident needs and emergencies.Participate in care conferences and interdisciplinary team meetings.Maintain compliance with infection control, safety, and regulatory standards.Provide education and support to residents and family members.QualificationsRequired:Current Nevada Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in good standing.Current BLS certification.Strong clinical and organizational skills.Excellent communication and customer service abilities.Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a healthcare team.Preferred:Previous Long Term Care (LTC), Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF), Rehabilitation, or Geriatric nursing experience.Experience with electronic medical records (EMR).Work EnvironmentThis position is located within a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) setting. Medication passes may include approximately 25–30 residents per hallway.
