Overview
Develops and implements clinical policies and directives. Participates in general department orientation program. Ensures preceptors are trained and complete appropriate paperwork. Ensures training/development and competency of clinical staff ensuring superior quality and patient experience. Provides direct clinical support, advice & expertise on clinical issues across Beebe Medical Group ensuring Patient experience. Creates, implements and monitors BMG clinical competency program. Represents BMG on Athena clinical EHR issues and collaborates/coordinates any necessary workflow changes, template development as needed. Clinical expert that collaborates with leadership to provide clinical direction for BMG clinical support team.
Responsibilities
Responsible for the coordination of orientation and training of all BMG staff. Ensures all documentation is completed on time, presented to team member timely and signed off on.
Provides clinical support and acts as an expert resource for daily clinical operations within BMG and to ensure all clinical staff are operating at the appropriate level of licensure.
Promotes positive clinical perception of BMG practices, Walk-Ins, and School Based Wellness Centers. Coordinates standardization of clinical office operations.
Develops, monitors, and recommends clinical staff competencies and creates/implements practice level clinical protocols. Ensures that orientation and training checklists are completed. Makes recommendations where necessary to ensure quality outcomes and superior patient experience.
Makes sure that annual mandatory education is completed and competencies are assessed and documented.
Participates in performance improvement activities as assigned and ensures sustainability of these identified practices. Participates in evaluation of all clinical team members.
Informs BMG leadership of issues identified, plans created/implemented and whether offices are in compliance.

Qualifications
RN, BSN-must be licensed in the State of Delaware
5 years nursing experience with 3 years’ experience in coordinating clinical, professional, administrative and clerical educational activities
DE Driver's license with no more than 3 moving violations
