OUTPATIENT SCHEDULER Be a Maestro of Patient Scheduling at Moab Regional Hospital In this role, y ou'll ensure a smooth experience for patients and families by collaborating with clinical teams, providing clear instructions, and communicating insurance information. Your positive attitude and excellent communication skills will be key in building rapport with doctors, staff, and patients. Here's a glimpse of what you'll do: You'll greet patients and families with a smile, scheduling appointments, answering questions, and providing clear instructions. You'll collaborate with doctors and office staff to ensure everything runs like clockwork. Accuracy is key! You'll verify insurance information, manage authorizations, and keep track of important documents. You'll be the go-to for scheduling, rescheduling, and cancellations, keeping patient wait times to a minimum. We're looking for someone who: Thrives in a team environment Possesses exceptional phone and customer service skills Maintains meticulous attention to detail and accuracy Demonstrates a consistently positive attitude and reliable attendance This is a non-exempt, full-time, benefited position. Anticipated Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm Starting Pay: $20.00/hour Minimum requirements: Highly organized, with excellent attention to detail Possess a high level of comfort with Microsoft Office Suite and technology in general (copiers, fax machines, printers, computers, etc.) Love to to work as part of a team Effective communication skills (oral, written, and listening) both in person and via phone. Strong clerical and organizational skills Effective both as part of a team and while working independently Strong critical thinking skills and able to respond quickly when situations change unexpectedly Sensitive to maintaining strict confidentiality and able to receive and manage sensitive information professionally at all times Strong ability to multi-task in a fast paced work environment Able to handle stressful situations calmly and professionally; emotionally mature You are reliable and timely with work schedule Flexible and willing to take on other duties, as assigned Why Should You Join the Team at Moab Regional Hospital?
