RN Employee Health

This is a casual position. A casual is a non-benefit eligible position that is not guaranteed any hours but can pick up open shifts. Purpose of Job This position is responsible for performing clinical nursing services offered by Employee Health for Ridgeview employees and volunteers. Job Functions Administers immunizations and tuberculin skin tests. Provides general health advice and blood pressure checks. Assists with annual flu vaccine program. Performs other duties as assigned. Minimum Education/Work Experience Graduate of an accredited school of nursing Current RN license by the MN Board of Nursing 1 year of nursing experience Knowledge/Skills/Abilities Ability to work autonomously and as a team Ability to meet and maintain the necessary background checks as aligned with position functions Ability to communicate in the English language for effective written and verbal correspondence in order to complete job functions as mentioned above Skill and knowledge in immunization administration Demonstrates good interpersonal, problem solving and assessment skills Demonstrates professional integrity and responsibility Capable of making independent decisions with the use of good critical thinking and problem solving skills Ability to serve customers in a friendly and efficient manner Ability to change work locations with or without prior notification in order to meet off site department needs Ability to communicate in the English language for effective written and verbal correspondence in order to complete job functions as mentioned above Physical Demands Link to Employee Health Physical Demands Compensation Many factors are taken into consideration when determining compensation such as:  the requirements of the position, experience, education, knowledge, and skills along with location and internal equity.  Pay listed does not include any shift, weekend, or other differentials.
