Radiology / CT Manager

Citizens Memorial Hospital (CMH) is recruiting a Radiology / CT Manager to join the team in Bolivar, MO. CMH is made up of 34 primary and specialty clinics, 6 Long-Term Care facilities and 1 residential care facility. About the department: Utilizing the newest state-of-the-art equipment and technologies, the Radiology Department provides 24/7 diagnostic imaging services to meet the needs of a wide variety of patients at both the hospital and Outpatient Imaging Center. Examinations are performed on both a scheduled and emergent basis and may include diagnostic radiology, mammography, vascular and echocardiography ultrasound, PET and CT, and MRI.

A typical day will include: Providing oversight and supervision for staff engaged in performing routine and specialized x-ray examinations utilizing equipment, supplies, and procedures appropriate to the ages of the patients served.

Monitors attendance, including absenteeism and tardiness, and counsels staff in accordance with policy.
Provides regular performance feedback and conducts monthly one-on-one rounding with each employee.
Serves as a role model by advocating for patients and ensuring the delivery of high-quality care.
Ensures appropriate staffing levels for X-Ray and CT across hospital and imaging center locations; prepares and maintains staffing schedules per policy.
Functions as a staff technologist and/or charge technologist as needed.

Job Requirements:

Education: Completion of a Radiology Technologist program with an Associates Degree from an accredited institution
Experience: A minimum of 3 years of experience as CT Technologist is required. 
Skills: Verbal and non-verbal communication, examination skills, patient safety
Licensure/Certification: Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists in Radiography and Computed Tomography
Physical: Ability to stand and walk for prolonged periods

This position is: Full-time working either 4 10-hour shifts or 5 8-hour shifts.
