Involves patient, family and other healthcare providers as appropriateNursing Diagnosis and Outcomes - Analyzes assessment to determine nursing diagnosis and expected outcomes, involving patient, family and other healthcare providers as appropriate.Implementation and Coordination of Care - Provides nursing care through interventions to achieve goals and needs using professional judgement guided by current evidence-based practice, regulations and policyEvaluation - Evaluates patient outcomes by utilizing the critical thinking process and evidence based knowledge to recognize problems, evaluate facts and reach sound conclusions.Evaluates discharge needs related to plan of care utilizing resources as needed.Professional Practice QualificationsEducationDiploma or Associate’s degree (ADN) required, Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN), or Master's of Science in Nursing (MSN) preferred.ExperiencePrevious experience in healthcare field preferred.Licensure/CertificationCurrent Oklahoma Registered Nurse license.  Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) training or retraining is required during orientation prior to providing patient care.  Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) is required to be maintained thru re-training for duration of employment.Only LDR and OBED RNs are required to have ACLSFor the entire Maternal Child tower, Neonatal Resuscitation Provider (NRP) is required within 6 months of hire and to be maintained throughout employment.Nurses on Women’s & Children’s are required to have Pediatric Advanced Life support (PALS) upon hire and maintained (same wording as the BLS and ALS should be)Other Knowledge/Skills/AbilitiesNew grads are required to complete Norman Regional's Nurse Residency Program.
