Under direct supervision, assists physician in providing direct patient care and evaluation of patients in an office. Performs direct patient care such as phlebotomy, EKG, specimen collection, wound care, medication administration and vital signs. Maintains supplies and schedules patient appointments. Position Summary: Medical Assistants provide critical clinical and administrative support in primary care and specialty practices, ensuring safe, efficient, and patient-centered care. Responsibilities include clinical procedures, patient flow assistance, and accurate documentation. Opportunities are available across primary care, specialty practices, and a centralized float pool. Primary Care Opportunities: Relationship-driven. Fast-paced. Community Centered. In primary care, MAs are vital to patient visits. You will: • Take accurate blood pressure readings • Room patients compassionately • Perform EKGs and administer vaccines • Support preventive care and chronic visits • Document in the EMR or Epic • Maintain a friendly and professional atmosphere Specialty Office Opportunities: Precision-focused. Procedure-oriented. Team-collaborative. In specialty practices, attention to detail is key. MAs perform similar duties as in primary care while adapting to specialty workflows. Ideal candidates will have: • CMA credentials (preferred) • Experience with injections and procedural support Float Pool Opportunities: Flexible. Dynamic. Team-oriented. For those seeking variety, our Float Pool allows you to support multiple locations based on needs. Key responsibilities include: • Traveling between sites (mileage reimbursement provided) • Adapting to new teams and workflows • Delivering high-quality patient care Minimum Qualifications Candidates must have: • High School Diploma or GED • Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program • Current BLS CPR certification from the American Heart Association or Red Cross Limited Alternative Pathway We may consider candidates with alternative clinical experience instead of a formal MA program, including EMTs, PA students, and nursing students.
