Full-Time HousekeeperBoulder City Hospital – Boulder City, NevadaPosition SummaryBoulder City Hospital is seeking a dependable, detail-oriented Full-Time Housekeeper to join our Environmental Services team. The Housekeeper plays an essential role in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for patients, residents, visitors, and staff throughout the hospital and long-term care facilities.This position is responsible for performing a variety of housekeeping and sanitation duties in patient rooms, common areas, offices, restrooms, and other designated areas in accordance with hospital infection control standards and established cleaning procedures.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesClean and sanitize patient rooms, resident rooms, bathrooms, offices, hallways, waiting areas, and common spaces.Dust, sweep, mop, vacuum, and disinfect assigned areas.Empty trash and biohazard waste containers following established safety protocols.Replenish supplies such as paper products, soap, and sanitizing products.Clean and disinfect high-touch surfaces to support infection prevention efforts.Maintain floors through routine cleaning and polishing procedures.Follow all hospital safety, infection control, and confidentiality policies.Properly use and store cleaning chemicals and equipment.Report maintenance concerns, safety hazards, and supply needs to the appropriate department.Assist with special cleaning projects as assigned.Maintain a professional and courteous attitude with patients, residents, visitors, and coworkers.QualificationsRequiredHigh school diploma or GED preferred.Previous housekeeping, environmental services, hospitality, or healthcare cleaning experience preferred, but not required.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.Reliable attendance and punctuality.Physical RequirementsWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to:Stand, walk, and move throughout the facility for extended periods.Use hands and fingers to handle, feel, grasp, and operate cleaning equipment.Reach with hands and arms.Bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, and crawl as needed.Frequently lift, carry, push, and/or move up to 50 pounds.Perform repetitive cleaning and sanitation tasks.Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable qualified individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of the position.ScheduleFull-TimeBenefitsBoulder City Hospital offers a comprehensive benefits package for eligible full-time employees, including:Medical InsuranceDental InsuranceVision InsurancePaid Time Off (PTO)Paid HolidaysRetirement Plan / 403(b) with Employer Match (when eligible)Professional Growth and Development OpportunitiesAnd more!Why Join Boulder City Hospital?At Boulder City Hospital, we are committed to providing exceptional care while fostering a supportive and family-oriented work environment.
