**Job Description:**

Coordinates the activities of volunteers to provide an atmosphere of excellent customer service with a high degree of professionalism; to promote the mission of the Auxiliary, Volunteer Services and the hospital; and to meet the goals of the organization.Education: ▪ Required: High School Diploma or Equivalent ▪ Preferred: Bachelor's Degree in a Related Field Experience: ▪ Required: 1-2 years related experience ▪ Preferred: 2-4 years managerial/supervisory experience Skills: ▪ Have public speaking skills to represent CoxHealth volunteers at community events and recruit new volunteers from the community; conduct training sessions and represent the volunteer services profession at professional meetings, on boards and on community committees. ▪ Absolutely must be able to effectively communicate with volunteers from ages 15 through adult. ▪ Must possess tact and diplomatic skills for counseling and resolving conflicts. ▪ Must have good time management and computer skills to coordinate programs, input paperwork and manage the volunteer flow for up to 100 people per year.
