Responsibilities include: * Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans * Monitor and manage critically ill patients using advanced monitoring equipment and technology * Administer medications, treatments, and therapies according to physician orders and critical care protocols * Recognize and respond rapidly to changes in patient condition * Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop and coordinate patient care plans * Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans, procedures, and recovery expectations * Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with quality and safety standards * Advocate for patients and support families during challenging healthcare experiences ## Qualifications ### Required * Current Illinois Registered Nurse (RN) license * Current American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or Red Cross BLS certification * Current American Heart Association (AHA) Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification or Red Cross ALS certification ### Preferred * Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification * One year of ICU or acute care nursing experience * Strong communication and teamwork skills * Ability to collaborate effectively with all members of the healthcare team * Physical stamina and emotional resilience to thrive in a fast-paced critical care environment ## Compensation & Incentives ### Compensation **Hourly Range:** $31.25 - $46.88 ### Shift Incentives Eligible for evening, night, and weekend shift incentives based on company policies and applicable job codes.
