**Job Description:**

Has a working knowledge of the admissions, pre-certification, certification, verification and the billing process required by payer source. This working knowledge includes practicing effective “customer relations” and performs all functions using organizational and priority setting skills.Education: ▪ Required: High School diploma or equivalent. Experience: ▪ Preferred: Previous Insurance or related experience Skills: ▪ Knowledge of current medical terminology. ▪ Excellent telephone skills and computer knowledge. ▪ Knowledge of effective problem solving techniques. ▪ Knowledge of the pre-certification, certification and verification processes.
